I will have to come over soon. I've been meaning to for how long now? Thank you SO much for your support! Its me!https://www.blogger.com/profile/15520813780079948188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8435796215811370380.post-71438740804760874272011-08-17T15:12:12.629-07:002011-08-17T15:12:12.629-07:00Dinah, I just want to say how proud of you I am. ...Dinah, I just want to say how proud of you I am. As a total back pain person (as you well know) I know in my heart that as you lose the weight, your back will get better and better. As soon as you are able to do so comfortably (feet, knees, and all) start walking - walk, walk, walk - it will help. If you need walking partner, come over and walk with me, I don't go far at once (most I do at once is about 8/10ths of a mile) but if you do it often, it adds up. Get yourself a little pedometer, and clip it to your clothes and you will be amazed at how much you add up in just your normal walking around every day. When you see you have walked 3 miles in one day, you will feel inspired to do more tomorrow.

That said, I think 30 lbs is wonderful!!! I will look forward to seeing your next 30! Just know there will always be starts and stops and sometimes you will feel like you are not making any headway, but don't give up. Your family deserves to have you.

I also lost my mother kind of recently, and I can totally sympathize with your pain there. I still "almost" pick up the phone to call my mother. It get's easier, but never completely goes away.

Keep up the good work girlfriend, and come see me sometime!!!Alisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15064821517768014997noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8435796215811370380.post-76162864037223245432011-08-17T06:48:11.881-07:002011-08-17T06:48:11.881-07:00Debby, thank you! By the way, I would like to use this opportunity to shamelessly plug super earthling. http://superearthling.blogspot.com/
You will LOVE it, I promise! I say that we should agree on meeting after a certain amount! Remember, from a previous conversation, wherever we meet, we need to meet in a pool or jacuzzi. (Do you remember?) lol Might I suggest Clearwater Beach?
Oh, and Debby, if you couldn't swear on here, it wouldn't be you. Swear away. I love you just the way you are! lolIts me!https://www.blogger.com/profile/15520813780079948188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8435796215811370380.post-13091066669041033502011-08-17T05:01:32.540-07:002011-08-17T05:01:32.540-07:00Oh my friend!

I feel so inferior now as you have a friend named 'super earthling'....OMG may I just say how much I love that?

Oh ya, you. Oops.

I promise the pain of losing your Mom will fade. You'll be able to remember the good things and smile. You will always miss her though, it just gets a little bit easier.

I just got a new matress (see, told you it was about ME!) and I turn over about 100 times a night and each time I'm on my back it aches. Not pain, just a nagging ache. I want to hug you for living with true back pain. I think there's nothing worse.

I understand the taunts and the humiliation. Assholes all of them. Oh, am I allowed to swear here? Oops again!

You know you can do this. For you. Use this juice fast as a jumping board to a healthy eating program.

We should have a deal where when we both lose X amount of pounds we get to meet each other!

Hugs to you my friend.

Let it all hang out!Debbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16402290416842014198noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8435796215811370380.post-19007586160453688812011-08-16T23:24:27.540-07:002011-08-16T23:24:27.540-07:00LOL..I knew what you meant. Hah! Woman, you're doing fantastic. I know it's hard for us lifelong yoyo dieters to learn not to fixate on the scale but, really, as long as you do what you know you should be doing, the weight will come off in its own good time. So don't feel bad when the results aren't what you'd like. There's always a next weigh-in.

I have AS (ankylosing spondylitis) and often have to sleep in a recliner because of the pain so I understand how that is. And, while my highest weight didn't reach yours, I can also totally relate to the frequent humiliation of being a fat person in a thin world. It sucks, plain and simple.

I'm sorry about your mom. *Hugs* It gets better with time. I'm sure she's so happy to see you taking charge of your health and losing the weight!

Your posts are wonderful. I'm sure you'll probably have many people who’ll come to read them in the future just as lurkers, without commenting. So you might not even realize they're even reading your blog. They'll keep coming back because they'll find you to be honest and compassionate and inspiring. You’re a gen, Dinah! :DSusan Bodendo/Super Earthlinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10552499547660991944noreply@blogger.com
